Dams are the most important water structures and Estimating the volume of sediment input to the reservoir and its distribution is very important. Ghezelozan River plays an important role in water supply and reservoir sedimentation of Sefidroud dam. In this study, using DEM maps and the information of Ghezelozan flow and sediment at Gilvan station and sediment output statistics from the dam at the Roudbar station in the period of 30 years simulates the hydraulic flow and sediment in the last 14 kilometers of the Ghezelozan river leading to the Sefidroud reservoir by using HEC-RAS mathematical model and As a result, the river sediment transport capacity is calculated. Also various return periods of debi were calculated with SMADA software and were used. Comparing the measured and calculated data Indicates that Ackers-White equation with the lowest error estimate than other transport functions is the best one. In addition, to investigate the erosion and sedimentation status of Ghezelozan River, Hjulstrum and Shields criteria have been utilized and the hydraulic condition of this river shows the erosion status at the sampled river's sections.
